Site Redesign 4

So, I lamed out and changed this site from a piddly, hand-coded piece of crap to a prepackaged-but-with-more-features piece of crap. This will at least encourage me to post more, since I don’t have to ssh into my webserver to make a post. We’ll see if that holds up.

But, you may be asking yourself, what do I get out of this? Well, let me tell you! You can post comments. You can click links and read drivel I have personally written. And, best of all, if you ask me nicely, I may consider give you your very own @danwpratt.com email address. What better way to tell everyone that you both know and love me. This is a Google Hosted Service, which means you get the Gmail interface you’re used to (as well as chat, calendar, docs, etc.) and the privacy concerns you’ve come to know and love. Also, you get me to be your very own personal sysadmin. And by personal sysadmin, I of course mean that I will fix broken crap when and if I get around to it.

So, there.

Your blog is better written than mine! I THINK I WILL TAKE THAT AS A CHALLENGE.
Also, it looks like you figured out what you needed for redirects, so awesome.

Well thank you! Hopefully I will keep it up. I only sort of figured out the redirects I wanted. If you go to danwpratt.com/anything, it will redirect to danwpratt.com/blog/anything, and despite all my regex-fu, I could not get it to not. I solved this problem by not having any more content on my site.

I though I was going to be the first to comment, and I was going to write something like “Yes! I am the first to comment on this post!”

HOWEVER, your blog does not say how many comments there are already. So now this comment is going to be about how it should do that.

    Um… it should do that.

The number immediately to the left of the date is the number of comments. It should be more obvious, though.
